Best week ever on the Ozello!! Captain Jelle and chef extraordinaire Alexandra were amazing. Jelle is a super chill and thoughtful Captain, always finding the calmest waters for docking and sleeping, and super flexible for any requests the group had. We had the most incredible time on our trip in the Ionian Sea with Captain Jelle and hostess Alexandra. They were warm and welcoming to our group. The details and experience were absolutely incredible. We had the most beautiful breakfasts and lunches made by Alexandra, all while mooring in amazing coves that seemed to get better each and every day. Her meals were a true work of art. And they tasted amazing! Captain Jelle made us feel safe and at ease with our new sailing adventure. We sailed to different islands / ports each day. Jelle made sure we had fun things to see and do. We explored caves, cliff jumps, and also floated, swam, and snorkeled in the crystal blue water. He and Alexandra always went the extra mile to make sure we didn’t run out of any provisions. They were very impressed by our water intake! ☺️Jelle also got us reservations at some of the islands for dinner during our trip. The husbands wanted to be part of helping with lines when we would reach our adventurous spots, and Jelle / Alexandra helped facilitate that. It made them feel like they were also apart of the experience! By the end of the trip, Jelle and Alexandra felt like family to us. We didn’t want to leave and saying goodbye was hard! We couldn’t have had a better experience. I would agree with all the comments made in the previous reviews. Alexandra and Jelle made the trip seamless, stress free, relaxed, fun and had every need catered for from keeping teenage boys busy with helping out to tolerating hours in the heat dragging us round waterskiing and banana boating to producing delicious cocktails just at the most perfect of times! Alexandra’s cooking was incredible and suited everyone’s needs. Beautiful presentation and delicious tastes, better than some restaurants. Jelle found us some perfect mooring spots, for swimming, cliff jumping for the brave, snorkelling and in the evenings close to some fantastic tavernas all in stunning settings. Thankyou Jelle and Alexandra for making our first sailing experience incredible, from the very first moment we stepped onto the boat we were in awe. Jelle was warm and friendly, informative, approachable with our safety always at the forefront of his mind but never in a way that compromised our fun or enjoyment. His beautiful wife Alexandra made us feel like royalty with the food she prepared for breakfast and lunch, the fruit platters were worthy of being framed and displayed in an art gallery! Alexandra truly has exceptional culinary skills, how she managed to make every meal so divine given the lack of resources and such limited kitchen space we will never understand. Jelle took us to some beautiful scenic locations for swimming and water sports, as well as booking us into the best tavernas for dinner. Nothing was too much trouble for this dynamic duo, they were super accommodating and made a fantastic team, supporting each other to allow each of them time to focus on making our experience unforgettable and easily the best holiday we have ever been on. A week on Ozelo, with Cavo yachting with Captain Jelle & Alexandra The boat was everything we had hoped for and more, the different spaces around the boat meant we could socialise together, sunbathe or just find a quiet spot to enjoy the scenery - and never felt like we were failing over each other. As a group we would like to thank you both for making our week amazing - I think it exceeded all of our expectations As a group of friends celebrating our joint 50th birthdays this made the whole week really special under your guidance Alexandra you prepared the most amazing food every day and each meal was wonderful in taste and preparation - how you did this from such a small kitchen, and whilst we were sailing is a mystery! You looked after our every need - and it exceeded all expectations. You were both there whenever we needed anything, but equally gave us space and privacy too. It couldn’t have been a better balance And Jellle whilst we had our thoughts on a route and an agenda - it all became irrelevant with your knowledge and guidance to make every day an amazing surprise, managing the weather (wind) to make our trips as smooth as possible, finding us quiet bays of beauty, booking us great places to eat, and running us ashore in the tender. We wouldn't change a thing! We hope that we have not been too difficult a group of clients ! (And you enjoyed our music and singing! ) And that made it a week you both enjoyed too ! We just spent a wonderful week with Captain Jelle cruising the South Ionian. Jelle’s knowledge of the area was exceptional and was able to find isolated coves for us to explore. Alejandra provided wonderful food. Her presentation was exceptional.  Jelle and Alejandra made a wonderful team that provided us with a unique and wonderful experience. Jelle and Alexandra created one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. Jelle is an exceptional captain—calm, experienced, and deeply familiar with the hidden gems of the Greek coastline. He navigated us to secluded coves, pristine beaches, and turquoise waters that felt like they were plucked from a dream. Each destination felt intimate and untouched, far from the crowded tourist spots. Alexandra was the heart of the boat—warm, welcoming, and an absolutely incredible cook. She made each dish feel personal and thoughtful, adding a special touch to every moment on board. It’s hard to put into words just how extraordinary our experience was aboard Ozelo — and that’s entirely thanks to our incredible crew, Alexandra and Jelle. From the moment we stepped aboard, they made us feel not just welcomed, but truly cared for. Their kindness, professionalism, and tireless dedication transformed our trip from a wonderful vacation into something magical. Jelle’s expertise as a captain was unmatched. His deep knowledge of the Ionian Sea, thoughtful selection of ports and anchorages, and flawless seamanship kept us safe, relaxed, and constantly amazed at the beauty of our surroundings. Every anchoring and docking was smooth and effortless — at least from our perspective! Alexandra’s culinary talent was beyond anything we could have imagined. Every meal was not only delicious but presented so beautifully that we often paused just to admire it before diving in. She somehow managed to anticipate our cravings and preferences before we even voiced them — a true gift. But what really set Alexandra and Jelle apart was how they saw to our every need, often before we even realized it ourselves. Whether it was making sure we had snorkel gear and SUPs ready, running into port to stock up on supplies (including what must have been endless bags of ice!), or quietly preparing and tidying our staterooms while we explored ashore — they handled it all with such grace and genuine care. Even after long days navigating, managing the boat, and looking after us, they remained warm, attentive, and ready to make the next moment special. We often found ourselves saying, “How did we get so lucky?” In the end, it wasn’t just the stunning scenery, the beautiful boat, or the perfect weather that made this trip unforgettable — it was Alexandra and Jelle. Jelle was an outstanding captain—calm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. He took us to the most beautiful, hidden beaches with crystal-clear water and peaceful surroundings that we would have never discovered on our own. Every stop felt like a well-kept secret. Alexandra was simply amazing. She prepared the most delicious meals for us, and her presentation was always thoughtful and beautiful. Every dish felt like it came from a boutique restaurant, and she somehow managed to make each meal feel special and unique. This was a beautiful vacation made even more memorable thanks to Jelle and Alexandra. Their professionalism and warmth turned a great trip into an unforgettable one. Jelle and Alexandra were amazing! They were attentive, kind, professional and after a week on the catamaran with them, felt like they were part of our family. The food they prepared was excellent (healthy, fresh, and delicious). The boat was beautiful, clean, and sailing Belize with this crew was perfect!
